Recently moved to US and looking for auto investing every month. Don’t have time to watch market movements. Already planning on maxing our 401k , have account with Fidelity and selected FXAIX. Any other fund suggestion? How do I get about buying other funds?

I am an associate at an AM200 firm and was (IMO) very clear prior to accepting this role that I value work-life balance and wanted to try to keep work at night on the weekends to a minimal, but since February, it seems like it’s always something that requires my time as needed disregarding “business hours” or my personal schedule. Thoughts on whether to bring this up or continue to be a team player until I burn out and pay off my student loans?

At the moment I'm with ucla health as an admin assistant float permanent& have been offered permanent placement at a site in LA about 16 miles . I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

After house and car purchase, my monthly cashflow is now only +$500 where it used to be $1,500. I have around $30,000 in savings, but can only save $500 a month (besides the 10% contribution into 401K). Is this a bad sign of my financial health? Currently sitting at 3.625% on a $512,000 home loan that now sits at about $490,000.

Lender 1: loan for ~$490,000, paying down for a few points to 2.875% (apr 3.034%); cash to close $12,344, monthly payments reduced by ~$300

I don’t get it: Why would anyone invest, for example, in a 6% dividend yield etf with a 0.50% ER (ie EMHY) instead of a 9% dividend yield etf with a 2.5 ER (ie YYY)? Wouldn’t you still be getting better results with the expensive one?
