I personally don’t recommend it. You need food and extra water to kick whatever you have. I’d recommend at least some broth to make sure you’re getting liquids and salts.
Keto is very hard for me when I’m sick and I usually end up falling off for a few days. Bone broth is good as it has protein, but I often just have ramen or no sugar added applesauce when I have the flu and can’t stomach real food. Hope you feel better soon!
I disagree with SC1 but it’s a personal preference thing. The benefit I found was if I could reduce inflammation in my body by fasting, I would get over my sickness faster. If you’re already LCHF/Keto it might benefit you to fast if you eat a lot of dairy (dairy is inflammatory) but if you’re on pretty strict meat and leafy greens then it probably won’t make that big of a difference
