Book 2 queen beds and place clothes as a human shape on the spare bed as an imaginary roommate
*tomorrows clothes. Then your outfit is all picked out in advance, and you get to feel what it's like to absorb your twin in the womb.
Unpack as soon as you get into the room. Set up your toiletries, hang things up, put stuff in drawers, set up your chargers, hide your suitcase. Makes me feel like I live there for the three nights a week
The basics: status and a good hotel pick. But also figuring out the best places for dinners.. I also like to go to really nice restaurants solo. And bringing little things that allow to be more comfortable. I used to bring a long hdmi cord so I could watch Netflix in leisure.

I bring my PS4
I travel with a Roku stick - means I can stream anything and not have to watch stuff on my laptop
Keep a bag there! Include gym clothes, toiletries, slippers (if you’re me)
I get two queens and let couchsurfers to use the other bed.
No I don’t. Lol I let them stay for free to help with my loneliness
Stay at the same hotel. Drink. And buy some candles - all hotels stink
