Waiting to get a COVID test right now, it’s been two hours and counting and they expect another hour wait. They also can’t tell me how many tests they have left and whether there will be any left by the time I’m up. Before I attempted this, I didn’t know testing is still such a disaster..

Looking for advice/input:

I’ve dealt with ADHD my entire life, although was just diagnosed last year. Throughout my career (assurance>industry>consulting), I’ve been able to “outwork” everyone else in the office to counter the lack of focus and other associated faux pas associated with the disorder. Recently have hot a point where I can’t put in the hours (3 yo/fam), and my work has taken a major hit. Anyone in consulting/assurance have any methods for managing this when it comes to PM duties?

Is it more difficult to hear (or process hearing) things when on stimulants? Several times people speak to me and then I feel I didn’t hear or understand them, never happens off stims: Any similar experiences?

Gripe- there is no room for a sick day in this profession. Big closing coming up. Have a bad cold. Have billed 40+ hours in the last 3 days.

I’m a 28 year old male, living with gf. I think I’ve got covid - very feverish, cough, hot and cold sweats, pains etc. When I get sick I turn into a massive baby - definition of “man flu”. I love my job and the pay is fair but being single and on my own it is not enough to live on and enjoy. I make about 55K and am really hoping to reach at-least a 75K+ job. I also have my Bachelors degree in Sociology! Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for jobs so I can make higher pay and actually enjoy my hard work earnings?

Struggling with depression and have no one to talk to about it. Been to 3 doctors and 3 counselors about it who haven’t been able to help. Afraid to talk to anyone at work about it in fear of cont.
