Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?
Any clue when the scatter plots are out?

Congrats! I’m 14 months in. I think there is a special club for parents where we secretly acknowledge that we always heard other parents say it was hard, but didn’t realise what that meant until we then had a baby of our own.
There are highs and lows but just take each day as a victory, because it is.
You are doing great! It is a huge, huge adjustment with an infant and with kids in general. Honestly, that first year is totally amazing, but a whole new learning experience. Think of it like this, you just started a new job, where you are required to work 24/7, you don’t have a manager or a solid playbook to follow, the requirements of the job change minute to minute and someone’s life depends on you! I think people think that since many people have children that it should be easier to manage, but for me, it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. With time, you will figure out how to carve out some time for yourself, but I would say the first six months are all about survival.
