Travel. Both domestic and international. I know it sounds cliche, but I'm in my late 40s now, and only started traveling a lot in my mid-30s. Travel changed me.
It gave me perspective on cultural differences, how non-traditional career paths are accepted around the world, and even changed my otherwise extremely American view on things like the serving size of food. Anything that gets the kids away from a screen and immersed in real life.

LOL Screens "ARE their "real"lives, D1!
That ship has sailed

Help them travel. From campd to summers on exchange programs. Make them study abroad. Visit varied countries, with different culture and development status, and stay away from resorts. Mix with locals, understand their problems.
Support them enrrolling in different programs, from tech challenges to nature conservation, the farer away they go, both in distance, culture and comfort, the better.
When they show a passion for something, support them to follow it and become excellent.

Listen to your kids when they tell you what they’re REALLY interested in. Don’t ever give them the idea that they have to “follow in your footsteps” to be successful. My brother tried so hard to be exactly like my Dad (and failed miserably), and my Dad encouraged it, without ever stopping to think that my brother didn’t have the same aptitudes or interests. My brother’s in his 50s now and he’s a miserable person, because the things that came so easily to my Dad have always been difficult for him, yet he continues to live a life that doesn’t suit his abilities or temperament.
Teach them about finance , taxes, credit cards.
Weekly classes in an instrument/photography
Various Sports
Reading habit on the world/politics
Yes, and also teach us about relationships and marriages

Travel for different ways of living. For different careers, I start conversations with people in front of my kids so they hear about the job. Not an interrogation but casually you’re great at X, mind me asking how you got into this field? Later we’ll talk about it in the car or over dinner.
Make sure you explore different thoughts and experiences. Talk with them about different ideas and cultures. Learn a language together. TRAVEL! Teach them not to be afraid by showing them how to try new things. Let them make mistakes!!!! Seriously, my kids are f****** awesome - better than I ever was. My wife and I are quite different personalities but they got the best of us both. Raising kids is a super challenging and rewarding responsibility.
Our kids were required to be in one sport (didn’t matter what) and one type of music (any kind). I’m a CPA/MBA nonprofit executive and wife is an artist. They got a great foundation.
Like my wife - 8 years of musical school, she won't touch a piano even with a stick nowadays...
Are you talking about careers or something else
