I’m a Senior manager currently in specialty tax services group and I’m looking to move from current firm. Any idea what the current salary and/or sign-on bonus is for someone with 15 years experience in STS and living in Texas? Looking at big and small firms but not interested in industry. Appreciate any input.

Getting ready for my first comp conversation with my manager this week and wanted some insights on the banking industry raises.

Can anyone please provide any insight on how raises typically work in this industry? I know bonuses are a big component, but does total comp increase year over year? Or will that increase with a promotion only, and till then the target bonus is the number to expect. Thanks in advance for any insight.

I started a new job at a wonderful company. I came as a manager because of my yoe and knowledge in the field. English is not my first language and , even though I try very hard to get better at it , I will never be able to speak or write like a native English speaker.
I fear this limitation will affect my performance review, future salary increases and promotions. How can I get over this ? I have daily anxiety every time I interact with peers. Any tips to improve my written or verbal skills ?

🐟 would really appreciate your $0.2 on this: I am currently a 3nd yr M at Uncle D (supply chain practice, erstwhile S&O). I have 10 yrs YOE: 7 yrs in consulting and 3yrs pre MBA. I am evaluating a couple of offers: Accenture Strategy (lateral move with 1-1.5 yrs to Senior Manager/Principal) and BCG (who want me to come in as a Consultant, did not agree to PL :/). BCG base comp is 15% below Accenture. Totally confused. P.S. I'm 34 (so no spring chicken).

Currently a SAP Manager at EY. Based out of Dallas making $160,000 base. Accenture is likely to offer a Manager role at $175,000 with $15,000-20,000 sign on bonus. If they don’t agree to pay more, is it still worth moving? How much should I ask for?

Hey all - looking for a rough comp estimate for the following criteria: company is non-tech, $100M annual revenue, roughly 100 employees. Would be coming in as a program manager managing roughly $50M of work but would not directly own the P&L (yet). Reporting up to the top as it’s a small firm. Unsure if equity is an option at this point but curious what base and cash bonus could look like. Thanks!

Debating the below two offers - your thoughts?Im currently a SC with 4 YOE.
1. A top hedge fund, data scientist, relatively new team, same industry and knowledge domain with what I’m currently doing at D. Doesn’t manage people. Flat org and slow promotion.
2. A luxury consumer products company which owns many brand names. Manager, lead the data science driven innovation / optimization from supply chain to marketing. Manage people. Comp is about ~50k less than the hedge fund offer.

Can someone share salary range for Manager that Deloitte typically offers in San Francisco Bay area for Tech Consulting roles?

Currently B4 tax manager (financial services, wam group) with 6 years of experience. Current salary 118k BANW. Got a fully remote industry offer at 155k base, 15% bonus and 110k RSU 4 year vesting. Is this a good offer or did I get hustled?

Typical base % increase and bonus for promotion from Manager to Senior Manager in financial services consulting at big 4?

Got promoted from manager to senior manager and salary increase and alleged bonus was embedded into the compensation increase of only 12% increase. Seems very low. Is this common at a mid size public accounting firm ?

Just found out that someone accepting a "Junior" version of my job at Spotify will be making 100k (I'm happy for them) I have been here for 5 years, got promoted to Senior last year and I make 75k.

This feels like a big punch in the gut and I've lost trust in Spotify to give fair compensation

Just got a verbal offer as a Senior Manager at a B/C round startup. Role would be in Product Strategy for their key product (Hardware) in a hot field. Would be based in NYC. Offer is 170k + equity which is currently being decided - was only told it would be sizeable.

Currently have 5 YOE. To complicate things I also got accepted to MIT Sloan. Is this a fair offer, and good enough to skip MBA?
