Has anyone worked as a HR Manager for Amazon? If so what did the role entail and how was the environment there? Theirs recruiters keep contacting me and they are a bit pushy. Salary range is $135 to $143 and I am told they work you at a Director level. Wondering if it is worth a lateral move.

My fiancé will NOT stop talking about her ex. After I found out they were texting arguing she justified it by saying it was about the dogs and not them. I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.

Random question but do you let your kids hang out in your bedroom and use your master bath if applicable? My kids always seem to want to use our bathroom instead of theirs and my spouse doesn't care but I grew up with my parent's room basically being off limits and think I'd prefer it that way.

I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Has anyone bought/ done the HRCI Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management? I already have my PHR, but I’m looking to gain more knowledge/skills and beef up my resume. Is it worth doing? The course is $239 and you get 12 Recert credits with it.

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything.
