Hello to all, I’ve been at my current role as an Assistant Buyer for 1.3 years and have been with the company for 2.5 years. I currently make $70k but feel that so should be making more, I live in the San Diego area and see that the average is $90K. How do I bring this up to my manager and how do I “fight” to get paid what I should get paid?

Hey guys, to keep it brief I currently have a signed offer for summer 2023 in accounting advisory at a B4 in San Francisco. However, I have the opportunity to go through the Amazon AFRP - Accounting summer 2023 internship in Seattle. I wanted to go towards the finance route and go from AAS --> FDD --> FP&A/Corp fin. With this in mind, which route would you guys go? note: comp difference will likely be a wash.

P&T is ‘central to our FY23 strategy’ and yet we had to beg and plead to even get a handful of P&T Directors to represent at the Director CLeX happening this week in San Diego.

This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Hello people of San Diego! Would love to hear how y’all are affording to live here comfortably. Please state your company, position, TC, YOE, and do you have a side hustle? I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at. I’d like to “make it” here but if it means switching career to make money I’d like to get an idea to make the right job change.

Planning a San Juan trip soon. Went two years ago and stayed at an Airbnb in Old Town, but I feel more inclined to stay at a more modern hotel this time. Any recs? And is it a hassle to get in between Old town and the newer area? I did enjoy being able to walk everywhere in Old town….

Been with a company for almost 2 years went from a Product Designer I to II
I started at 75k base salary and now im at 78k after a year. I’m based in San Diego,CA. Mid market SaaS startup
I’ve been taking on a large workload compared to other seniors and principles on my team for a lot larger of initiatives.

I feel like I’m mentoring a lot of seniors and principle designers. I get ally of kudos for being “top talent” “kickass” etc…
I just feel underpaid and it sucks
