exit opportunities for someone who got a good gpa from a well known school and a cpa who thought they would be doing something cool while building a foundation for a fruitful career but got stuck on state/federal claims and related government work instead? or is a full restart needed?

S1 at B4 now but looking to do something more traditional (?) that will provide opportunity in finance/accounting and not something ‘risk’ oriented that will pigeonhole me.

I was wondering what kind of contractual or other barriers I might face if I apply for one of the big 4 while working on a project with them in my current company.
I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?

2.5 years in B4 govt then 2 at FAANG tech prgm mgmt. If I wanted to come back to consulting, what firms are most remote friendly, and what level/comp could I target?

I feel like I've stalled out and could use some advice. First, I'm in my 30s with a master's in accounting and working on my CPA. I did a year as an audit associate at one firm and recently moved to a new firm as a consultant. I know I'm underpaid for the experience and I'm worried I inadvertently took myself off the accounting track.

How long do big 4 consulting pay sick pay for before they put you on SSP? I’ve been off sick in 2020 with covid for 2 weeks and was given full pay for those weeks. Anyone been off sick for months, whilst on full pay?

Would you accept an A&M offer for associate in their TAG group? 100K base. Currently in B4 and was offered transferring to FDD (though right now not guaranteed until minimum 3/1/23) as a Senior for $129K base
