What masters degree would you recommend? I’m in Big 4 Risk Consulting (6th month) and currently researching on masters programs in Canada, US and EU. I would like to pursue something technical (combo with regulation/law would be great too) in about 1.5 years that complements by Risk and Reg consulting career. I don’t really want to do an MBA since I already pursued Business in my undergrad + it’s very expensive. (Also my undergrad grades are really bad, I was able to make it to consulting cuz of

does big 4 have a spring cycle recruiting for entry level/undergrads?

Do Big 4 Accounting firms still have an " Up or Out" policy in regards to employee progression.

Asking on behalf of a friend. For MBB, the Big 4, and other top tier consulting firms - which MBA schools enable you to be a MBA hire? Just the T10? UT-Austin is what I’m curious about specifically. For example, I have an MBA from a small private school and I know the big firms wouldn’t hire me at the MBA pay so want to learn where the line gets drawn to give my friend advice. TIA!

For those who work as tax consultants just for the busy season, is it the norm to get paid overtime at 1.5? I just saw a tax consultant role at a Big 4 I believe that pays $75 an hour and overtime at 1.5

I messed up my interview with Millennium LLP for an entry level role and I feel nothing but dread right now. I believe it was my only opportunity at obtaining a high salary / profile job compared to my other options that only pay half as much. How can I accept the fact that I might not be able to start out as successful as I wanted to be? I believe it’s extremely difficult to jump between layers (E.G. Big 4 to MBB) later on in my career.

Open to those firms but also know there are more out there. I’m also open to the tech industry but not sure breaking in there is possible with only about 2 year experience. 1st year mgmt consulting associate out of undergrad, been w the firm (B4) for bout 3 months. Looking/gonna try to move to T2 after about 9 months cause I like the consulting work. I also love finance and was thinking about trying for IB analyst role. Also, reason to move is I think I can give more to work right now at a younger age and want the bigger paycheck. Career advice - I am deciding between two offers. Big 4 FAAS Sr. Associate (95k) VS. Internal audit manager ($110k) for a public company. Completely different options that will change the trajectory of my career. I’m interested in both. IA interests me a little more, but this role entails quite a bit of travel and I’m assuming the FAAS role will too. I really don’t know what I want long-term, but WLB is my priority. Any thoughts?

90% pay increase?!?! Help!

So, I'm being offered a job at TCS in their C&SI practice. I really like my job (Big 4), my colleagues, and the work is interesting. I honestly don't want to leave, but they are almost doubling my salary. I have young kids and a spouse, and some debt I'd like to get rid of so I can start really putting money away for retirement and savings.

Should I make the move? Am I going to regret it once I'm there? Is this where my career goes to die? What would you do?
