Of the larger firms (big 4 and mid market) which have non equity partners? What benefits are there to this tier?

I’m a senior at a B4 firm talking to recruiters from other B4 firms. A couple of the recruiters are discussing setting up interviews soon. I’m switching into a completely new group/line of service and feeling crazy nervous that I’m going to be easily rejected after interviewing. Any tips on nailing an advisory interview or advice from someone who has done this? Is it a small percentage of people who actually end up getting offers?

Really burnt out from external audit at a B4. I just want to cruise by for a year until I can figure out my life. Not sure if a staff accountant position is the way to go… or maybe payroll? Other than internal audit, are there any accounting roles out there for someone who is terrible at managing stress haha

I’m thinking of trying to move from Big 4 Tax into FP&A. Has anyone done this? If so, How was the transition?

Has anyone made the transition from Audit in one B4 to Accounting advisory in a different B4 as a manager? Curious to hear if anybody has done it and how did that go.

Been in Big 4 FDD for two years now, and trying to develop a stronger modeling skill set for Corp Dev moving forward. Would leaving for a senior FP&A role provide me with similar modeling experience/exposure compared to say boutique IB over the next year? Moreso looking to build out the modeling skillset of my resume

Which b4 has the best real estate audit practice in NY, Chicago, SF

Obviously there’s a lot of factors to consider, but would you rather take a job at a Big 4 firm where you’re a number but have a lot of resources surrounding you or at a T2 firm where you can own a lot of work but the name is unrecognizable on your resume?

Been working in Big 4 FDD for a little under two years, interviewing past 2-3 months for FDD, strategy, and IB. Received an offer from a MM FDD group for a 25% pay bump, but mainly looking to pivot out as I’ve burned out of FDD and want to move into a more finance focused role. Currently moved into second rounds at a senior strategy role for a F500 and case study stage for two boutique IB’s.

Would it be dumb to turn down the guaranteed FDD role and see how the others turn out?
