Hi - I am interviewing for two strategy and ops analyst roles at Google. Can someone please help explain what to expect in the interviews? What type of cases should I expect? Will they be more about Google products or general consulting style cases?

Landed an interview with MBB for a knowledge analyst-aligned role. But I'm concerned that despite being a MBB company w/ 20% higher salary, this may be seen as a step down as I'm currently client facing and the role (as I understand it) would be back office/non-client facing.

Is it even worth interviewing if I'm already concerned, or wait until/if I have an offer?

I am finding it quite difficult to get any call backs or interviews from the last 4 months. After the pandemic I couldn't find a job in usa so had to return back. Thinking about the time I made it all the way to end of the interviewing process for a certain large bank’s analyst program and was ghosted. They told me when I’d hear back and when I didn’t, I emailed twice (got a response once with a person to reach out to and I did) and silence. What a time.

2nd year audit staff here. If I want to exit audit to go into a Sr. Financial Analyst role or industry accounting role, should I start applying right after my senior promotion? I really don’t want to do a year of audit as a senior.

I have the skills to do the job requirements but have not got the opportunity to get an interview. Need advice navigating a conflict - I’m an analyst at the 8 month mark applying to part time grad school for Fall 2021 to complete while working. I’ve been working a lot with one manager that I’ve gotten close with. in November I asked for her to write a LOR for me by mid Jan. She said yes. I still do not have the LOR and have been periodically and politely reaching out... but the deadline is next Monday. How do I firmly communicate my concerns of the deadline while remaining polite?

I am a junior and I have ptsd starting my sophomore year of college. My grades have dropped and now that I’m seeing professional help, I feel back on my feet, but now I feel very un confident about my 3.2 GPA and lack of clubs/resume for those 2 years. I’ve been having low confidence in applying to internships because of this issue. I am very unsure on how to explain this to recruiters because of sensitive subjects, so how do I got about it? I really do wish to be a financial analyst someday.

Mentally exhausted in this career. Don’t always mind the hours but don’t find it fulfilling. I think tech is more interesting and operational. Offered an analyst role at 140k base/bonus (not including equity but not public so not factoring that in). It’s not my ideal company because it doesn’t seem like growth is exponential but people seem nice and role seems better than consulting - gotta start somewhere? Only done a few interviews so far though. Is it better to wait? Have <2 YOE.
