I am an Automation lead at Accenture with current CTC as around 16LPA including VP. I have cleared interviews for Infy and asked for 25 LPA. I know my demand will not be fulfilled as it is not a niche tech. But bearing 11 yoe and my current package, what is the max Infy can offer and at which role? Last round of interview coming up for an analyst/associate role in IB M&A. I have 2 years of experience in Big4 M&A. The previous interview round was very technical, and the last round will be a ”business case”, which lasts about 3.5 hours, including a short introduction, 2-hour preparation, and a presentation. They will provide me the PC. What would you expect an IBD case study to be like? I’m not sure if I have to build everything from scratch or if I can use some ready-made layouts.

How long does it typically take people to lateral? For context, I’m a fifth year litigation associate. I spoke to a recruiter a few weeks ago who has worked with several of my friends in the past, who made it seem like I was a in a really good position, but so far I haven’t even gotten an interview. Am I just being crazy/impatient or is this a sign that there’s an issue with my resume or something and that it’s going to be really difficult to move?

Hello Everyone, I’m in the interview process for EY’s Tech Risk associate role(commercial). I wanted to get everyone’s feedback about the work/life balance and the culture. I’m a fairly new to consulting (10 months), I know my transition will be challenging (internal to external audit) at first due to big 4 standards but wanted to see how everyone experiences went.

I accepted an offer to join a national firm after graduating this summer. The pay is decent, and I am relatively happy so far (it’s only been a month since I joined). Today I received an email from a bigger, more prestigious firm I applied to months ago. They’re asking if I am still looking for an Associate role. I would like to interview with them to see what they have to offer. Would that be considered ‘disloyal’ towards my current firm that I just joined a month ago?
