Thoughts on moving from multiple in-house positions back to law firm and its impact on your resume? After working as an associate for 6 years, I moved to an in-house position for a firm client.Due to COVID-19 furloughs, had to switch to another in-house position in a completely different field. After less than a year in a new position, I was approached by a law firm recruiter with a very attractive offer to return to biglaw as of counsel. Concerned about the jumps and going back to the grind.

I’m completely failing as acting senior. I’m a new associate (<6 months exp.) and I’ve been placed in this pseudo acting senior role since a few members of our team left. Getting my MBA beginning fall 2023 and thinking of doing consulting again after I graduate but I think I would be coming in at the level I was before I left which is off putting for me.

Hello all, I’ve been at in my current role for a year and a half now (HR Ops Administrator), I interviewed for an HR Associate role within the same company, with a 63K-72K pay range, 5% bonus every year. Due to changes within the organization the role was eliminated. I was approached with a “Network HR Associate” role instead but haven’t received any information regarding the pay range for said role. Anyone familiar with the pay scale for such a role? In Jacksonville, FL?
