Business dev role v/s technical product manager role in SWE group. Not a developer am a data scientist so can understand technical details. I have also really good M&A and mgmt consulting experience with strategy projects. What are the pros and cons for these roles from growth prospect in a company and comps as well as wlb. Hi all, got an offer for data scientist kind of position at a boutique management consulting firm that competes with MBB(at least what they claims), 3 YOE, base salary is over $90k, bonus range from 9%-15%, so total comp is at least $100k, 20 days annual leave. The office is in NYC but they let me live anywhere I want even after COVID.
This is a better offer than what I have now, just wondering if they are offering me the market value?

I currently intern for a major stock exchange within index R&D (pretty much a data scientist role) and previously as a data product PM. I hate my job so much. I want to get into EdTech and currently got a side project going on helping charter schools new comers apply for funding through public policy strategies and build out their infrastructure. Can any of the older people in this forum teach me how to leverage and pivot this into something that I can use to break into edtech? Please help

Hi Fishes, i am an MBA who joined IBM and became a data scientist. I don't want to pursue my whole career in tech related things or coding( which is what i do moat of the time now). Being an MBA i want to more of functional role of lead or head. Don't know how to make that transition and if it will be good looking at the current swing towards tech related roles. Guys, usually how much time is taken in Deloitte for feed back after first technical round. My brother was interviewed last friday for Data scientist role and it took 1 hr.

Any ideas for marketing career coach services to new or recent graduates looking to break into the analytics field? I worked as a manager for several years on analytics teams and genuinely enjoyed the coaching/mentoring aspects of the job.
