Looking for input on TC to target for a MM PE Ops director or up role reporting to an MD. I have 15 YoE total. Is 400 TC directionally right?

Help me pick.
Corporate strategy at global FMCG, potential to exit into P&L ownership or equivalent role in 2-3 years. Equivalent to “head of”/director title. People are smart but no ego, and role would serve category/geo leaders as well as exco. 16% pay cut but a true 9-6 and industry-leading benefits. 75 min commute till Dec and then 30 min after new office.

Is 250k TC for a Director level position in industry the average for someone exiting a 200k TC manager position in consulting? Total 10 YOE with last 3 in consulting. Is the compensation and jump in title worth putting my small family through the trouble of relocating between coasts? Not sure I will see many more Director level exit opportunities if I let this pass and keep looking closer to home.

How long approximately do you have to stay as an art director before applying for / being considered for a Senior AD position? Obvi I know that the work has to speak for it too.

Need advise, currently working in a specialized industry strategy consulting boutique, where majority of the work seems to be CDD n M&A focused. In talks with Monitor Deloitte for Director role, strategy & design but generalist role. My current setup while specialized is a very small firm where the partners have a top-down management style, while I have been culturally more accustomed to bigger consulting firms. Pay similar in both companies. Any advice?

Currently Director level , 11 years, 200k base with bonus anywhere from 30-60k expected. Non technical role but IT background. I hear terms like L6 and senior PM but hard to gauge.

At Deloitte now. laid off last year while on medical leave. Landed a new job with the help of a senior mentor and vouched for me not knowing my medical limitations. I just had to take sick leave again on the first project out of the gate. Dr is recommending 40 hours a week which will not fit the requirements of my director role. I have an intro call with a VP hiring for a brand director role. What might be the most common or hardest question a VP may ask for such a role? I’ve only held senior marketing roles and am about 10 years of experience. - Has an MBA and a PMP

Just got approached for a senior manager position at fortune 100 company that is an IC role…? Even the director level would have limited leadership opportunity… I guess it’s better than all of the scrum master and project manager roles that seem to fall into my inbox but just odd leveling. Am I crazy or is it weird for a Senior Manager to be an IC???

Have a call tomorrow to discuss an offer for IP director of a series c startup. I was told early on by HR that the comp was 180 base + bonus and equity. Can anyone provide insight on what type of bonus and equity I should expect? I believe bonus should be provided as a target % of base, but I’m not well versed in equity.
