I've an experience of 5.5yrs as a digital marketer in roles like Brand Manager, Editor-in-Chief, Traffic Acquisition Lead and Content Manager in various organisation. I've also had my successful ventures for 3yrs before that.
I'm getting an offer for the role of Senior Manager in a well-established (close to two decades). What should my salary be?

For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? Also what role are you in now? I really like EY and the company. I’d like to look at moving to an internal role but I’m worried I’ve priced myself out (currently at around 140k comp in LCOL).

Can someone guide me on EY Parthenon's interview process and salary range for a senior manager.

I’m in the process of making a career transition out of advertising to entertainment. I’m currently at $115k with $10k end of year bonus, $125K total.

The entertainment role is only $110k and the title would remain the same (Senior Manager).

Should I take the title and still being close to my base salary as a win or should I decline the role due to comp?

Which option would be better for my career - currently M2:
1) EY offer with a promotion to SM and 40k to 60k bump

Wanted to get FB thoughts on two offers:

1.) Series C start-up: Director, 210k base, 9-13% annual bonus paid out every month starting from join date, 50k equity, 10k Signing bonus TC: 250k.

Pro: love the people, easier to impact, mission-driven
Con: start-up growing pains; 30k less than other

2.) Public Tech: SM of Strat; 200k base, no annual bonus; 250k equity over 4 years, 20k signing TC: 280k

Pro: 30k more comp, bigger name, defined role
Con: Unsure about fit; harder to stand-out

Why do some people say that the senior level at big tech (e.g., L6 at AWS) correlates to senior manager level at big 4?

I get it from a comp perspective since comp is just that much higher. But from a scope/skills perspective, I find it hard to believe that L6 is closer to SM than it is to SC.
