Does anyone else feel that from a student personality and school philosophy perspective: McKinsey ~ HBS Stanford ~ BCG Wharton ~ Bain ?
Thoughts my fellow German autos? McKinsey = Mercedes-Benz (refined, stately, "the best or nothing") BCG = Audi (techy, innovative, modern) Bain = BMW (youthful, sporty, loud)

Apparently you can get into Booth with lies on your resume? This guy I know from college put McKinsey on his resume for 3 years when he 'volunteered' , but no one bothered to check I guess? LOL
New to consulting, can someone break down the meaning of tiers with firms? Like tier 1 etc. Please use examples. My understanding is that BCG, Bain, and McKinsey are the best, then big 4 firms, etc?
