Can anyone provide any insight on what it's like working in Sidley Austin's London office? Culture, target hours, work life balance etc

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?

For remote folks: am I more likely to find a remote role that allows me to move around multiple times during my tenure at a big FAANG-like company, or a startup? what are things I should look out for in my search?

However, a 'Digital Director' title feels too junior and 'Managing Director' maybe a little more senior. Any logical suggestions please? Thanks

The firm I work for has been good to me, but the partner I work under is pretty toxic/manipulative and it’s negatively impacting me. The past two years have sucked the life out of me, so I’m looking to leave. I love client service and training/leading staff, but I don’t know if I can do another busy season. I want to learn Salesforce Tableau CRM (formerly known as Einstein Analytics) and switch to a different organisation. In my current company stuck in a project where there's no learning scope, no growth and work culture is toxic. Now I'm only going through Trailhead, YouTube playlist videos and practicing hands on in my free personal org. Are these enough to crack interviews or not? I don't have real-time project experience.

I'm updating my resume for the first time in 3 years and I'm struggling with how long it should be. I can get everything on to one page, but if I want to elaborate about my experience, it's going to be 1.5-2 pages.

Anyone have any insight on the Orlando staff counsel offices for GEICO or State Farm? I currently work at an established insurance defense firm, but am looking to switch for a better work life balance. How is compensation for a 4th year attorney? Should I expect better work life balance working as staff counsel? My understanding is that I should, but I wanted to see if anyone had experience with either office.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.
