What carrer shifts could CSMs make?

I made the unusual transition from SDR To CSM. Considering switching roles or going to full on account management roles.

Thoughts?

My marketing people - does anyone else's company have a dedicated "Marketing Response Team" (MRT Team)? Or something similar? Might be called something else at other companies and I just have no clue.

I spent 2 years as an SE at my current company and was offered a job at the same company to lead our tech partnerships. I was pumped about the role and increased my OTE by 20%.

After 4 months, the culture of this team is entirely different than sales. My manager micromanages me, is out of touch, and threatened me for having passion projects outside of work.

Do I stick it out and deal with the anxiety, move on from the company I love, or take an AE job that is on the table and blow it up?

I'm at wits end guys. After spending the past 2 years producing and learning new skills in the gaming industry. I'm completely unable to find work.
I have 8+ years of experience as a full stack web developer with a strong set of design skills having begun my career in User Experience Design. Now with the last two years I've added game production in Unity, C#, 3D modeling and animation, level design, narrative design, and asset management to my skillset. I'm unable to support myself.

Interviewing for new jobs when my current boss is a reference, bad idea or not?

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Currently in sales. 26. Take extreme pride in my work and the effort I put into it. I know it sounds like a greedy millennial, but I feel very underpaid and undervalued. I am competitive and have been successful in sales. Looking for my next step in my career. Ideally remote. Any suggestions? Have been applying but haven’t been getting much action back. Thanks

Is anyone else exhausted with their consulting staff thinking they’re gods? Being treated with disrespect constantly by them is so draining. How do you manage your responses to them that’s not a 30 second turnaround?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

Need advice! I accepted an offer mid Oct and just found out my new company opened a new role above me at the title I was asking for originally but was told I would move up when they were ready to build out the team. PSA to anyone doing transactional work - learn to make an org chart in Microsoft office using SmartArt. It’s super easy and for some reason Borrowers and Lenders both seem incapable of making them so you’ll look way smarter than you are.

I just finished a big jury trial with a senior partner (SP). There were co-parties w/separate counsel. SP mentally checked out, to the point that co-counsel was asking what SP was doing/if SP was okay. I ended up handling most everything. SP did a few parts but went rogue and did things that were offensive/risky/bad for client. It became clear that SP is not performing like SP used to and may be a liability. Do I tell someone at my firm? Don’t want to offend SP or cause drama, but I’m concerned.

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

I have around 1 year of experience in Java and total 5.5 years in total.

I got a lead role in a company with good package.
The role is of java fullstack, microservices.
I studied hard on spring boot and microservices but my hands on experience is less.
Would I be able to survive,I am a quick learner and deliver projects on time....but first time switching so asking.
