Consultant with 15lpa fixed in KGS, is that low?
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

I’m in my third year as a senior in tax and make high 80s.. maybe time for you to bounce to another big 4
I’d say mcol. SALT
Reasonable. Expect 20-30% raise when you go into industry.
Reality of the world: PWC won't give you an outside the normal timeframe raise just because you asked nicely and are a top performer without a competing offer or a real business case, and you don't have one of those as a senior. You'd be better suited going to another firm and either leaving or leveraging that offer into a raise (lots of warnings about this, most people say you are better off just leaving)
This is true everywhere, industry, public, big 4, small firms. Sorry.
You can ask, they will be nice about it and will look into it, but the answer won't be "we agree you're massively underpaid here's a nice raise"
Went from 70k to 110k as a 2nd year senior going into industry. Definitely expect a nice bump.
