ORD to EWR has ~20 1Ks on almost every flight lol
Damn. I thought maybe due to the extra # of flights on that route it’d be better. American is the same way with their EPs. Prob will just stick
However, I was hoping they’d match the EP status with the equivalent Premier 1k (maybe it was wishful hoping). Do you think it’s overall worth it to switch with them? FWIW I’m flying to Newark frequently and upgrades with American on that route are incredibly slim, and United does have Clear at that airport
If ORD-EWR upgrade rate is important to you I honestly don’t think it’ll be any better on UA given it’s hub to hub. FWIW, I was fine flying AA out of ORD when I was living there, although I never signed up for Clear so not sure what differences there are there. Flying out of ORD both airlines are viable and I don’t think you’ll see a big difference in experience, so just pick one and stick to it.
What does clear have to do with it? There is clear in terminal two, and the cost is pretty nominal.
I like clear, and American is kind of shutting clear out. So flying terminal 3 ORD clear isn’t an option, at EWR for American it’s the same.. MIA is a little similar. Small thing, but would like the option
