But the fact that you are now acknowledging it and doing things about it is the first step to becoming healthier! I’m so sad to hear you are depressed but am so proud of you for taking that step to talk to a therapist and hope your therapist is helping you.
Reaching out for help is amazing. If you can keep working with the therapist, do. It helps to get an unbiased opinion and advice. You’re really doing an awesome thing!
That I most likely have between moderate and severe depression. I kinda figured that but hearing somebody else say it made my heart sink

One benefit of hospitalization is that meds & doses can be changed more rapidly because of close supervision and restricted activity.
