Work full time but have a passion to break into financial services <on the side for now> to gain exposure, mentorship and skills. Not sure how to do that. Truly interested in the wealth management side, not life insurance solely. Tried that and all they cared about was “recruiting more agents”. Not for me as my priority right now is mentorship and learning. Currently life licensed and studying for SIE. Any recommendations?

I work in insurance defense and we are getting slammed as far as workload and have been for some time. It’s nice because I haven’t had to beg for billable work and always hit my goals. My question is whether this has been the norm at other insurance defense firms. My other question is how other states are dealing with COVID restrictions on jury trials. Has anyone tried anything during the pandemic?

Can one stock save the market? AAPL is trying to do its best to stem the tide. AAPL has stopped its decline at the 38.2% retracement of its advance since April. It could reassert itself and start a bull run here. However, 70% of the time, it continues to the 50-61.8% line. That would take AAPL down to the 95.48-85.50 Level. Needless to say, given the weight of AAPL is the S&P and DOW, that is where the pain comes in for the indexes. I do think AAPL tries 117-120 before resuming its downtrend.

I have an opp moving from AE of Enterprise to SLED clients. I’ve never sold to SLED. I welcome any insight. It would be 20% more in my base.
Ha, in reference to the earlier post.
I’m a relatively new AE at my company but only 1/3 hit quota and 1/3 of those people hit POE+. Is it worth it to stay? We’re about to hit the “busiest” month but with everything going on in the world right now I don’t see it picking up. What do you all recommend?

Currently working as an AE in SMB making about 120-150k first job out of college. I love our product but our customer service and support team is absolutely horrible and it gets to the point where merchants I sign up are calling me all the time complaining about minor issues or inconveniences they may have. It sounds like I’m not being understanding but it’s gotten to a point where I want to look for a better company to work for, but it’s only been 6 months. What should I do?

I’ve created a strong network with Senior Lvl Execs @ my current company, and work on high level task forces to develop enterprise biz. I’m ready to move beyond the AE Role, but not into traditional sales leadership. I’ve also been interviewing b/c our systems are a mess currently. On the verge of getting offers higher than my current pay, I’d be starting from 0 with building reputation, book of biz, etc. My exec mentor suggested I pitch new roles & $$ and she’ll endorse. Thoughts?
