Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

You don’t have to be a 2 to be laid off. Business needs can change and processes can update. I have been through layoffs in other companies, it sucks for sure but you can bounce back if you don’t give up
Every day it seems. I was about fired in the downturn for no real reason than getting the numbers up for a sale.
Are you a 2?
At ey. Unless there is a recession you don’t just get laid off
No, I'm not a 2. 4 to 5 rating in the "old" system.
Was laid off from a small firm back in the day (2010). I had a brand new baby and new mortgage. Was the worst day of my life at the time. Fast forward 8 years and my life is so much better than I could have ever imagined. A year and a half after I was laid off I got hired on at EY and am now a second year senior manager. I was also lucky to have been able to do a 3 year rotation overseas. If you are worried about being laid off maybe start looking for an exit plan as there is a whole world of possibilities.
