Maybe it’s just me but 20 demos seems like a lot?
“What red flags should I look for?” Bro/Sis you’ve mentioned them.
* low quota attainment, poor morale, Glassdoor reviews (I actually take this into consideration), high churn (normal in sales but still worth noting)
20 demos is a lot. Must be a dope product.
High churn is typical in BDR roles. The negative reviews by BDR ‘s is a huge red flag. $50k base may be ok depending on your experience. How many years do you have. Is this an increase or decrease from your last role? What are their expectations beyond 20 meetings?
20 demos a month and you have to generate your own leads? Seems to me that 40% of quote attained is even a bit high and unrealistic unless they have some real killers in there
It’ll take 3-6 months of building quality pipeline before you will get close to a demo a day.
Maybe a bit late to the conversation. 20 is a lot but doable depending on the qualification criteria. Rather than asking about the targets question your new manager on their qualifications on how to get you there and their experience. Companies set targets without actually anyone achieving them so quiz them.
Yeah sounds all bad. 20/ month?! That’s I hope after you’re fully ramped. Typical things tube said. Bdr roles see simply ass but if you’re good and the promotion path is real, you’ll do great also 50k Is trash

I took a break from SaaS and was in real estate. I was at 60k base 85 OTE. Expectation of certain amount closed, I need to get that KPI.
Looking to transition. Very Confident on the phones and have a “succeed no matter what” attitude.
We are targeting the SMB, local auto shops, retail, etc.
20 demos is a lot!!!! Because think about this: not all meetings that you book will convert to a demo. Also how good is the product? How is the marketing for that product?
How many people you are working with? How many people from that team hit quota? What’s your region?
