Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Look for a leasing/tenant relations role and ask to take on more responsibilities
It can be difficult to find a position. Keep in mind that a lot of times people get jobs through word of mouth. Someone knows someone and recommends them for a job, that kind of thing. It can be helpful to do as much networking as you can. A lot of places may not be looking for entry level people now as they're just hesitant to do any hiring in this economy. You just have to be persistent.
what state/city are you in?
Melbourne, VIC
I have applied to over 28 companies with over 41 years experience and nothing. It is hard all over.
I am a 20 year NY State Realtor and can tell you that you need to find a Broker willing to take you on and hold your license. You need to find a reputable Broker, like Coldwell Banker, Howard Hanna ect..they often offer training programs. In Real Estate you dont recieve a salary and are paid on commission with no draw. You also have association dues and license fees you have to pay.
I’d be interested in a conversation. What state are you in?
Im in Victoria, Australia
Where are you based?
Ah, I’m afraid I won’t be much help to you. I’m sure things operate quite differently. I’m in the United States.
