I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon
I quit today :)

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
I recently interviewed with MITRE for a systems engineering role to make the move from Leidos where I feel underpaid for the work I do and for my experience ($85K). I have 4 YOE, a STEM degree, and soon will have a Masters Degree. I’m looking to make around $120K in the new role at Mitre. Does anyone have any insight into comp there? This would be in the DC metro area. Does $120K seem reasonable or am I dreaming?
Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

I think it’s fine if your top is long and covers your butt.

I have seen the full range of inappropriate in the office and unless someone complains, no one cares. Is it professional work attire? Depends on the company culture and you or your mgmt. definition.
What are some examples of inappropriate that you’ve seen?
I work in tech, but I'm fully remote, so..... What Zoom can't see doesn't hurt anybody!
True!! I cherish my WFH days 💕
I work in tech and have worn leggings almost every day. I hate being uncomfortable and leggings are the only thing comfortable to sit for hours in. If I was meeting with a client, I would be more conscious about the length of my top or wear pants, because it could how our clients perceive our professionalism (whether I agree with it or not).
I'm a manager and lead architect who's progressed internally from being an intern at a pretty fast pace, so it definitely didn't impact my career.
Note: I pretty much always just wear a black t-shirt and leggings or a flannel, I'm never wearing very "girly" things in general, so maybe it helps to avoid the leggings looking too revealing?
I don't think any of the leadership cares, because they're all just devs wearing graphic tees themselves and don't think about what people are wearing while they're in meetings/writing code.
I love leggings over pants too, and the office is too chilly to always wear a dress or skirt
Thanks for sharing!
If a very attractive and shapely young women wore it and everyone stared when she walked by, the men would be called pigs and the women would make comments. If it’s ok for you to wear it, then it’s ok for her to wear it. But, you’re at work, not the gym. I’d say no, unless under a shirt/top/skirt that covers the butt and most of the thighs.
Definitely pairing with a longer and looser top!
I used to wear leggings to the office at my first job in Customer Support. I thought it was fine because the dress code was ultra casual, I wanted to be comfy, and I was very skinny with no curves to expose. A year into working there, I realized that the leggings were see-through when the sun was shining directly on my butt… and I lived in LA… and no one at work told me… It didn’t seem to affect my career, but I sure still feel mortified thinking about it years later! So be careful with fabric, always pair with a long and loose top - or simply wear jeans to be safe :)
Oh no!! Thanks for sharing and definitely would pair with a longer top
I would expect most company dress codes to say outright that leggings are not pants. However, there are leggings that convincingly look like pants? I would like to say “do whatever you want and everyone else will get used to it”
But, I know it would be way too distracting.
Search leggings on tiktok not all “leggings” are created equal
When in doubt, don’t wear it out.
Catchy! Thanks!
Of course, it’s your choice, but please make sure it falls under your companies guidelines
My company doesn’t have published dress code guidelines unfortunately!
