You’re doing fantastic, great job!
My one thing to add:
Get/stay healthy.
Your strength, nutrition, mobility, mental health.
Treat your health with the same discipline you are treating your financials.
Ira, hsa (if you have them) and mega backdoor Roth 401k.
What do you mean when you refer to a ROTH 401(k)? as a “mega backdoor?” I asked because I currently have a Roth 401k and would love to hear more 😁
Outside of all these great points, watch the lifestyle creep and stay within reason to a budget
You’ve got the savings part down, but what are you savings for? As in what do you want retirement to look like? Can you start doing some of that now? Travel, hobby etc.
Instead of churning to a number, start living the life you want now and it will make the journey that much better.

Create a budget and long term plan / projection. Sounds like you are doing the right things. Try to forecast what things look like in the future. Are you happy with where it gets you?

Absolutely this! Create a budget and monitor it! It’s easy to spend extra money if you aren’t paying attention.
The savings really started snowballing after a few strategic career moves in my late 30’s, but keeping my spending habits like my early 30’s. Don’t try to keep up with the Jones’s.

Sounds like you’re already doing all the right things. Have you given some thought to what your potential lifestyle would be like post-FIRE, how much it costs and hence how much you’d need to FIRE?
As GSK has suggested - getting a good understanding of your annual spending / saving and projected amount required to FIRE would help.
Another is to try and maximize your earnings (if you aren’t already).

What are your best estimates of your annual spending, annual saving amount, and current portfolio size?
Find experiences you can do now that are within your budget that will create memories. Camping, hiking, visiting and staying with family, going to state parks...basically remembering to live. Don't miss out on creating experiences because you are trying to hit a saving rate, but don't splurge on indulgent trips.
Great stuff. In a similar situation, and 3 other things we’ve focused on in addition to 401ks, HSA, and 529s:
1. Adequate emergency fund in HYSA.
2. Setting aside cash for down payment on home.
3. Investing in non retirement accounts
Any kind of an LLC. Get a car on Turo. Get an Airbnb. Rental property etc. once we put one car on Turo we exploded several LLCs. The value is immense.
Plus depreciation is tax deductible = less taxes. And we take ourselves out to a quarterly lunch to discuss scheduling/cleaning/buying new vehicles. We had 5 at one point.
What is a car on turo?
Rent your car on Turo. See comments above.
Have annual savings goals vs NW targets. Helps mentally when the market is down for the year
