I just started a new job and am about to be 36. I want to start a family but I feel like I should be waiting due to this new job. However I don’t want to miss out. I’m thinking about freezing my eggs

I'm an engineer, and I feel like my manager is more of a friend than anything else. We talk about our personal lives, and I feel like it's hard to be completely honest with her when she's so casual with me. I don't want to lose our friendship, but I also need to be able to talk honestly with someone who has the power to help me grow professionally. Is there a way to have both?

Getting into the military helped my feeling of abandonment due to my father's absence. It sounds funny, but being in the military showed me another type of parenthood that I needed.

Has anyone been through a situation that you were in a terrible relationship ( stress,anger, fights, swears, physical abuse, ego clashes) and how did you resolve it? Some might have worked on and stayed in the relationship and some might have broken up. I am looking for answers from both sides. How did you stay/work on it and how did you break up and move on? Me and my partner have strong feelings for eachother and are almost inseparable despite going through so much.

Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. On his end he sees it as he’s comfortable.

my sister died this morning. I posted about her in a past post. Alcohol addiction, liver failure and then it taxed the kidneys too much, she went into cardiac arrest at 9 am and they could not save her. She was 51. Sad day for sure. Feels odd that she is no longer here. I just wish she could have had a better future.

Recommendations on an exceptional career coach who can help my husband? He works with his brother at a startup his brother founded (my husband is in-house counsel) but often finds himself belittled by his brother, cut out of conference calls and emails and generally feeling like he has no skills. I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.
