tl;dr strips work well as a Y/N indicator but don’t pay attn to the ‘depth’ of ketosis the strips show; after several weeks to months, your body gets good at using ketones and you likely won’t excrete excess amts, so shifting to blood test is better. BUT pay attn to time of day, hormonal fluctuations, foods ingested before testing, and any recent activities, as all of these may affect the testing

I use urine strips and recognize they’re less reliable. I’d like to get a blood testing kit but want through the first month before investing.
To your point, everything I’ve read says blood tests are the most accuracy.
I use the urine strips as well.
Use blood glucose divided by blood ketone to get your GKI, urine strips may not be accurate
