Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

How prevalent are pancakes at iHop?

I’d laugh at the prospect of anyone feeling they need uppers to do their job at a big 4.

Having to use drugs to do a job probably means you’re in the wrong job. Drugs have an impact on your health. You are literally giving a company your health so you can, in most cases, do a fairly unimportant job. It’s not like you’re on the front lines at the battle of the bulge.
If you’re diagnosed properly that’s a different story.

This is disturbing tbh.
Cannabis is fine, but hard drugs and abuse of prescription drugs - 👎👎

I was just pleasantly surprised how little (none) of it I’ve noticed. Nothing like IB. I think it’s mainly because it’s not a one stream type of job, but requires more changes of pace that aderall and stimulants are not well suited for.
I'm prescribed ADHD medication and it helps me immensely. I was never diagnosed with ADHD as a child, but I got prescribed adderall in college to help with school. This helped bump my GPA and overall motivation and appreciation for school. I definitely wonder if I am choosing the right career if I need ADHD medication, but I love the work that I do so much. It's worth it to me, but I agree with everyone's points above. It's something I struggle with. Imposter syndrome af.

I'm sure some people do, but in four years I've never actually seen it or had someone admit to it.

Not prevalent at all
Never seen nor heard any of my colleagues even talk about it at BCG
Most people seem to be “in the closet” / won’t talk about their use
