Every single morning I have flashbacks of the morning I woke to find my husband had died in his sleep. I can remember every second of that day but can’t remember the name of a person I just spent an hour talking to. For me it has been therapy and a flexible work arrangement combined that get me through the day. There are days I can’t get going until 11 am, but then I’ll work as late as I need to in order to get the work done. Medication takes a bit of the edge off, but just the edge and some make you more sleepy and therefore just make it worse, so be sure to discuss with your doctor.
Try meditation, I have severe anxiety and bouts of depression. I’m taking an online course offered by Dr Joe Dispenza and it’s working wonders.
