St Regis it is - thank you very much for all your recommendations, thoughts and input!
I’m not from SFO so others might have better insight. But when I’ve stayed there on my own points I found Le Meridien to be more than sufficient. Just make sure you have Lyft/Uber downloaded to take you around town.
Welcome to SF. My recommendation: St Regis, Palace Hotel, Westin St. Francis
St Regis is by far the best. But where are you staying on Monday? I would probably just stay is the same hotel so as to not have to move.
Palace
St Regis
+1 on Westin St Francis... while not the best SPG property, it puts you right in the middle of everything
St Regis > Palace > Westin > Le meridien > ...... > Sheraton lol
Palace is great. St Francis sucks
Palace, hands down
I think you can't go wrong with Palace or St. Regis
The Park Central is a good third choice
Westin is in a crappy area. st Regis is a great hotel. And great service. Palace second choice
St Regis or W
W rooms are tiny and it's not at all as luxurious as st Regis or palace. Hope you get the upgrade!
Points don’t matter - I have more than enough.
Great advice on the Uber!
Why use points if traveling for client work?
Client work will start Monday, but will use the opportunity to spend already the weekend there. There is no business need for me to be in the US Saturday/Sunday. Would be sufficient to arrive on Monday...
Will travel to Dublin on Monday, so def don’t want to stay there over the weekend 🙈
