Alvarez & Marsal Kearney Strategic Operations practice vs Alvarez & Marsal auto and industrials group.
Which one is better to join considering variety in projects / exit to MBB or industry strategy roles?
Kearney Alvarez & Marsal
Current non-SWE Googler in interviews for Partner role in MBB. I have previously worked at MBB at the Analyst level and disliked the “grind” / lack of autonomy in that role. Is it better at the Partner level? How much agency would I have over my schedule and what I decide to work on? What are the biggest challenges as a boomerang Partner?
Hey Fishes, I’ve given docs for Background verification for PwC AC Kolkata location, gave interview for Senior Associate Role, YOE 4 years, how much fixed/CTC should I can ask with HR while negotiating? Current fixed 8.4 lpa. Thoughts?

Hello fishes, which one would you choose Oracle OCI or Akamai. Both offer almost similar Base,JB and RSU.
Role at OCI: IC2
Role at Akamai: SRE II
YOE: 3.9 years
Position: Site Reliability Engineer
Accepted what I thought was my dream role. It's unorganized, training is subpar and its very frustrating. Its a few months in and I'm over it. I have a side biz but due to my new role i have to put that in the back burner (at least until i learn to do this job efficiently). I really wanna quit and go to work for myself but I know that this is not possible at the moment. Has anyone else Accepted role that they thought was a good fit bit now are questioning their decision a few months in?

Hi, looking for a U.S. PwC referral. Thanks!
Hi, I am looking for a job change. Can someone from Novartis please refer me for a position of Senior Analyst or Data Engineer role. Any help would be appreciated. Experience - 2 yrs Skills - AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau Lang - PySpark, Python, SQL.
My company is recruiting me for a “Assistant sales manager” position. My question is what do you think I should negotiate as a base pay? Anyone currently in that position?
I’ve heard of some account service individuals who jumped from Account Executive/Account Manager to Account Supervisor (vs AE -> SAE -> AS). From research, it’s seems like an SAE requires 3-4 YOE and an AS required 4-6 YOE. However, for those who have experienced this jump in their own career, do you feel the account sup role you landed to be more “junior level” than a “normal” AS role normally is? Did your team feel adequately supported, or should they have hired a more experience AS?
Does anyone have experience being a contractor for Deloitte? What was your salary negotiation experience? Do they pay fairly? (extra context: looking at their operations program manager contractor role)
I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.
I was hoping if anyone can help me to prepare better or suggest a plan to land a job for a role that aligns with my ambitions.

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

I’ve been searching for an HR Manager or Senior Generalist Position for months. I check all the boxes on experience and SHRM cert but no degree. I can’t get past the ATS. If I do get contacted the degree is the deal breaker. Any company referrals or recommendations? In San Antonio are a or remote would be most ideal.

Hi all! Anyone have a good closed captioning service that adds captions in Spanish with a Spanish VO? We have two videos, one in English and one in Spanish, and they both need captions. I have the scripts but don’t feel comfortable and we want to make sure it is correct. Side note: We were going to use Rev but they don’t do captions in Spanish and one of their sales people just sent me a very snarky email.
It's official, Kimi is retiring 😥😊
What is the salary for Cloud expert in Government at PwC and anyone can tell about their experience in this role.
Is it mandatory that we should get lead feedback from 2 people? Or will it be ok if we get feedback from only 1 person
I keep being told what I have to do, but no one will show me how to do it. Be very careful how you word IEP’s without being given. The wording. I have been here 2 years as an intern. Now, with 3 weeks to go, I find out the name of the support person? I was never given training and my intern support person never met with me. Not even once! I’m not being hired back because I don’t know how to do what I was never trained on.

Hi guys, i am a fresher and just about to do my first switch. I have a couple of questions. I have a notice period of 60 days and if i give an interview for a company and they release an offer letter, generally they ask to sign and accept in one week. If i accept, and gets offered better ctc from another company, can i accept that offer letter and join them? Or will it be problematic as i have already accepted one offer? Appreciate all detailed responses. KPMG Deloitte PwC Accenture EY
I was referred for a PM role in Accenture. Though I have 14 years of work experience, I was not considered for interview because of education gap and Distance learning Graduation. Is this fair???
Our 6th grade schedule changed this year & our 45 min Flex period is now first thing in the morning. Students who have signed up for instrumental and chorus are pulled that block but it’s supposed to be “intervention” for the others. We rotate classes so I thought of treating it like homeroom, but I’m having trouble trying to think of how to best make use of that block. Any suggestions?
Any information on below would really help!!
I had package discussion with TCS HR this month 4th but I have not heard back yet. Tried to reach out to hr but no response.

Saw a job posting for a new dept in a company I want to work for-I am shallowly acquainted with the owner from 15yrs ago and we have messaged each other 2x on LinkedIn over the years. He is a multi billionaire. I am thinking about reaching out to him to ask about the department with the intent to be considered for hire.
Would you consider it rude or impertinent for someone with that shallow of a connection to you to reach out to talk about working for you? I'm unsure if there are SES issues.

I’ve recently left the world of consulting and joined a tech startup and my role is to build partnerships with consulting companies and SIs. My working hypothesis is that referral bonuses won’t be enough of an incentive in formalizing a partnership with the likes of Deloitte Digital. You all make your money on implementation but our product is pretty simple right now and easy to implement. How else can startups create relationships with you? We want referrals & for you tell clients about us.
What is a "good enough" reason to reach out to a partner at your firm? There is a partner at my firm in a completely different practice who comes from the same hometown as me (think ~5k population). I'm interested in hearing about his journey, but I don't want to do the type of work he does. Is it worth it for me to reach out?
