Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

In most cases, if you quit your job, you’re not gonna be entitled to unemployment. What kind of retaliation was there for taking FMLA? If it’s just a feeling you have that would be tough to prove so whatever it is you have to make sure it truly was retaliation and you can prove it. Then usually mediation comes into play. I wouldn’t count on getting unemployment and even if you can get it if they fight it it’ll be a while before you can collect. Just be prepared for that. I would start with going to your HR department despite what people say. They try to be a liaison between the company and the employees. They don’t wanna lose you and if you’re in the right, they will stick up for you
I already went to HR about the FMLA and my managers got reprimanded for it. I’m focusing on getting a new position as soon as possible. I have a couple months of rent saved so if it gets too much I will just leave
I'm sorry your job is making you feel depressed. That's an awful feeling. What would happen if you started letting go of some of the slack while you look for another job? It seems like you're putting so much pressure on yourself.
If you quit you are not eligible for unemployment
Hi am Salesman outdoor and indoor
I am sorry the situation has been hard for you. The market has been tough, so you could quietly start applying it, and it could be the best of both worlds.. You can find something without worrying too much while unemployed.
I’ve been applying for a year the job market sucks
That’s a really tough position to be in and I think it is wise to start exploring other options. It’s never a bad thing to start looking for a new job. While doing so, start to take a step back from picking up the slack for your coworkers and discuss some of the issues with management.
Management is retaliating against me for taking my FMLA
I’m a CM and would love to understand what you need from your manager to correct the problem. I’m sorry if it’s too late in your current situation, and I’m
Sorry you feel that way. But what is it exactly that how you feeling the way you feel and what would you like to see? Have changed to keep you from feeling the way you feel ?
You are going to get this wherever you go now a days in the medical field. Weigh you options carefully before you leap. The grass is not always greener on the other side. If you are having mental stress take few weeks or month off medical leave of absence. This is work causing you the stress. Just saying. Try Yoga or meditation. Find a place at work you can take a break and go yell cry just release the pressure. Good luck whatever you decide.
It’s really that hospital that’s driving me mad

What state are you in? Can you take FMLA for a while for your mental health? If not, and it doesn’t seem things will change, may be best to look for different job.
