I’m working for a big 4 and have a suggestion to encourage folks to return to the office. I find I’m more productive overall if I spend a few days a week in the actual home office. However…I don’t want to pay a couple hundred a month on parking. How about reimbursing parking? That would be a valuable perk…versus free bagels and garbage food.

What monitors would you recommend for home office? I am about to buy one myself. I work in FDD. Do you guys recommend the ultra wide? Curve screen? freesync?And what definition is good enough ? I really do love Apple Retina display but the price.

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment.
