What's your experience working with United Way?
Got an interview with Amazon within their Advertising department. I hear working for Amazon can be great if you get into the right department. Anyone have insights to their advertising department? Good or bad? Also, would love some interview tips if you have them! (It’s for an Executive Assistant position) thank you!

Not a firm I’ve worked for, but they’re a solid MM/top 10 firm.
There is flexibility at CR working remote. Leadership has taken a conservative approach to office re-entry and is open to a remote work environment going forward. While there is a lot of HUD work, the offices have a diverse client base so certainly explore the opportunity.
We use the same although some partnerships use GoSystem
Considering we're remote and have been since March 13th I can speak to this. Tax Senior pre-COVID in NY was 80k as first year senior. DC is slightly lower pay but since they're poaching you most likely willing to pay above market price. I would expect 85-95k, but also would depend on future work conditions. Are you a permanent remote employee or is the position remote until we're back in the office? Feel free to reach out with any other questions
I am not but our DC and surrounding offices are heavy in HUD work. If that's what they say I'm sure it's true, but given Covid I'm not sure you're able to go into any office atm
I can't speak for this personally, but I know two people who moved from my current firm to CR Bethesda office (they have been fully remote) as experienced associates. They were offered around 70K (one had 1.5 years experience, one had 2 years experience - the first one had mst and cpa, the second the mst and cpa are ipr).
I was offered an M1 there for 95K (MST, CPA, 8 years), but I declined because it was a significant pay decrease for me (I am a supervisor - my firm does not allow promotion to manager without being on partner track, though I've managed clients for years)
They both really enjoy their experiences there, though one said it is hard because he works on a single project with so many different people. But he has found a good group of people he likes. There have been times where it has been difficult. I know he has yet to go into the office.
I think they are both grateful for the 10% raises they are getting as of January 1.
I am not sure when you say DC if you mean Bethesda or Tysons. I am not sure if they have a DC office. He is in group A (real estate/construction) - I might have the details slightly incorrect. His fall season seemed relatively light, but probably because he started in June and a lot of work was IPR.
I went to a different comparable firm for fall (and was immediately put to work and transitioned in easily and I had a great experience but I worked on HNWI and I enjoyed my 19 hour days).
But my only experience with CR is that I enjoyed the recruitment process. Everyone was nice and the recruiter said 4/4 people liked me (he could have just been being nice).
PS. I saw this post was 56 weeks old. Oops.
