In a rejection email today the recruiter mentioned another role I had never heard of that they felt was more suited to my capabilities.

Just received an offer from Deloitte (advisory SC, in risk and financial group (gps?)): $152k, $8k sign-on living in DC. Currently $135, but I would have to pay my current company apx 7k to move (payback for TA). DC area, in a highly cleared space. Any recommendations on how to counter or if its worth it?

That’s how I got my job at Google. They were like “actually you’d be a better fit for this” 😁
See if you can follow up to ask any questions about the new team. That may help clear up quite a bit
Seems worth pursuing to me.
Go for it, nothing to lose. If they didn’t want you in this capacity, they wouldn’t be bothered offering. Good luck
I would check to see if someone there has that title first
Recruiter stated it was a new team they were about to stand up
I’ve heard Verkada is a great company to work for. Very promising for high performers.
It's common at SAP but it doesn't necessarily have a separate title.
We have Midmarket Territory (MMT) reps who handle businesses that do upto about 200M USD revenue, and then reps in Midmarket Named (MMN) that handle businesses that have 200M - 1B in revenue.
Above this threshold is supposed to be enterprise reps, but we frequently see accounts that are doing well above the 1B mark or even above 2B being handled by MMN reps and not enterprise. No one bats an eye.
We have select at Salesforce.
What is select like at SF?
They just started the Select role, and it's worth it. I love working at Verkada, and the reps that were promoted to that role are doing very well.
I just saw some new openings posted there. Awesome to hear that it worked out!
Can confirm it's a new rule between AE and Enterprise. Go for it!
Every role is actually down graded 1 level, starts at MM which Is actually SMB
