I think it helped me when I was job searching. Not absolutely critical if you have other relevant experience. But I think some companies filter for it. But if you aren’t on the job hunt or a company isn’t sponsoring the cost, I prob would hold off. Also I think a lot of the expensive review courses aren’t worth it.

Yes! You may or may not apply it in your current role, but you never know where your next move will be. This will make you that much more marketable when seeking something new and adds a sense of credibility to you within your profession. Highly encourage it.
I think it depends on where you want to work! I’ve worked in start-up type settings where hands on learning is valued more than formal certifications, but more established companies may feel differently. I’ve been able to build my career without certifications and don’t see a need for them. (Which I’m grateful for because I’m a terrible test-taker)
