Is my company the only one that hires people who only re-forward emails sent out from other home office folks? “Just wanted to make sure everyone saw this email….” They should be called “VP of email forwarding.”

Joining Deloitte in 2weeks. What Deloitte send laptop, do they send extra monitor, keyboard and mouse? Or does it need to be purchased using $1000 productivity subsidy? And do we need to use Amex card to purchase and then reimburse?

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
