We have slack, and use Jira company wide for project management. But management would like to get daily updates on what people are accomplishing.

Hi all! I'm a fresher, a 2021 IT graduate, currently working as an analyst at Deloitte USI. After spending close to a year in a maintenance project, I'm looking to switch projects. But I'm not sure whether I should stick to SDE/developer roles or go into Data Engineering. Both the fields excite me but I'm a bit confused on what to choose. Does being an SDE give better salary/perks in the long run (like 10-20 years)? Because some say that SDE > DE while some say it is not so. Please be genuine.

I am facing a very difficult situation in my life, after getting rejected in one project interview I have joined a project were most people are from Russia and Belarus or kazakisthan. I had a very small team with just two persons one russian(who took my project interview) and me.Now, he is also leaving EPAM and the client expects me to be his replacement. I am getting married this week with my college sweetheart/Best friend. Even though we were in the same college, I met her on bumble and these 4 years have been amazing. Especially the last 2 years during wfh (luckily our families are from the same city). With WFO starting, we didn’t want to do long distance hence decided to get married. Project just got postponed right after I secured an offer and about go give notice. In this case, do I still have to follow the 2 weeks notice rule of thumb to do KT?
