wow that sounds like a stressful time...it might be worth doing more focus groups and research-based activities to understand employee perspectives tbh
Thank you for your response! I had this idea so I have been having focus groups, exit interviews and stay interviews at each site for the last year. I have met with staff at least monthly and my COO has as well. We have identified staff have no trust in supervisors due to various reasons, resulting in significant exodus. We are working on leadership changes and corrective action, but also want to restore trust. Unfortunately, those before us elevated the supervisors into their roles with no prior leadership experience and then gave them no support or training. Many factors at play here, but we have been focusing significantly on employee perspective as part of our retention plan.
I think you should start with team building exercises first and then move towards any micro management.
