That's what I did. FAR first for sure. Gotta get that out of the way and then take the easiest last when you have less steam
^not quite. It's better to strategize. Maybe you are super smart and have no problems just taking it but if you aren't you can increase your chances by strategizing.
FAR REG AUD BEC
I did BEC, AUD, REG and then FAR. My thought was if I failed FAR I could just retake it over and over without switching what I was studying, and if I BEC lapsed, it was the easiest to retake. Just my thought on it. Good luck!
There are different strategies and you need to pick what you think is best. I would say go with the easiest for you first. It can help you learn how to navigate the process, studying, etc. if it expires you won't have many problems taking it again because it's the easiest for you. Will also help you with confidence.
Definitely go with a "hard, easy, hard, easy" strategy and get FAR out of the way first since it has the most info. I did FAR, BEC, REG, AUD.
FAR BEC REG AUD
FAR REG BEC BEC REG AUD AUD. Retakes
AUD BEC REG FAR. People say to do the hardest first, but I believe doing what you feel most comfortable (NOT BEC) is what gets the confidence going.
My order was FAR on Nov 1, BEC on Nov 29, REG on Jan 6, and AUD on Feb 26. Scores were 80,86,76,88 respectively.
BEC in 4Q 2010 (before the change to include essay in 2011 - wow I feel old); REG in 1Q 2011 (after I had winter break to better study for all the tax stuff that I glossed over cause I was going into audit); AUD in 2Q 2011 (after a quick 2 week break between spring and summer semesters) and FAR in 3Q (after enough people had taken the new exam which now incorporated IFRS and I wanted to give them time to work out all the kinks). I picked each exam with each timeframe according to a specific reason; gotta be strategic with your study plans. Passed all on first try.
Haha, just realized my order is a palindrome of your order!
That's the same order I took it in and it worked great for me.
I did them in alphabetical order because that's how the online Wiley material was organized (in 2012), and I wanted to complete the exam study materials in order so that my checklist would be methodical. I'd be a little more strategic if it were going to make a difference if I had to take the new test format, though. I've heard it's better to take BEC and REG before March 2017 as those two will have the most changes/new stuff. Not sure if that's accurate though.
It does not matter what order you do it in just pick one and study for it. I did BEC, FAR, REG, AUD and passed all first try. There was no rhyme or reason other than that's what I could fit in in my limited time to study for each. Don't over think it just take them, study, pass
Did FAR REG AUD BEC. REG was easy for me since had already been working in tax for a year. Definitely lost momentum at the end and glad I did BEC last
BEC Q2 13 - FAR Q3 13 - AUD Q3 13 - REG Q3 13
AUD FAR REG BEC. but I'd make sure you take REG and BEC before the changes if you can.
That order is logical. I did far last and stressed out way too much. I passed everything on the first shot, but I think if I did it in the order you're planning, it's a lot less stressful since I think FAR is the most difficult.
Reg bec far aud far
