Hi Everyone! I’m currently a Surgical Assistant doing plastics in Colorado. May have to move to Dallas for my Fiancé’s job so was wondering if there is any similar job options in the DFW area? I’m a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant finishing my undergrad. Started as a scribe/MA doing minor procedures for quite some time and most recently a Surgical Assistant in the OR for about 2 years. Is is possible for me to stay in the OR in TX based on my experience, or would I need more certification?

I have a flight from ORD to Delhi with a 2hr layover in Paris. I'm going for my visa stamping (so I have the approval notice but not a valid visa stamp). Would I need a transit visa for 2hrs. The France visa website and the CDG website seem to give conflicting information and no one picks up the call at the embassy. Can someone walk me through the Do's and Don't's of AA miles? I think they're a joke.

I have 65k miles and I could only pay for a one-way ticket from PHX-JFK. I had to book 1 leg with miles and the 1 with cash, but booking the other leg in cash was about 80% of the round trip in cash.

My mom has 12k miles that expire soon, transferring them would cost me $450. I can pay for a round trip with that cash but I can only pay for a trip to my kitchen with those 12k miles.

Downside is that there are not very many amenities (only have a shared roof deck). Full amenity units in nearby buildings are in the $4200+ range, so I was thinking $3800 or so. Is that unreasonable since I don’t have a pool/gym/game room?

Recently contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. I interviewed with her and then her supervisor. I have another interview with the actual company today. Currently at base of 150k plus 20% bonus in the Midwest. New company is located in California (San Bernadino), recruiter asked my target, and I asked the hiring range is… she said 200-250k plus bonus. Originally I said 230k but started looking at housing. It’s very expensive. I’m waiting to see how the interview today goes and their offer cont..
