Anyone know how with traveling duty free alcohol works with a connecting flight? Flying from JFK > LAX > PPT (Tahiti) and plan to buy at JFK because the store at LAX will be closed during layover.

Traveling to Tahiti / Bora Bora soon and was told to bring some alcohol from duty free to cutdown on $

Heading to the west coast towards the end of July beginning of August. Any tips on traveling via a motor vehicle to LA versus buying plane tickets from Vegas to LAX with transportation accommodations?

Seems like LAX is one of the very few major airport with no public transportation. Is there reason why they didn't make one? Would have been much better to have airport rail to DTLA.

Would you pay $3K for a DeltaOne Suite upgrade on a flight from LAX to Sydney one way? Normal ticket is $14,000.

My firm does a firm wide attorney retreat/meeting this summer. I’ll be about 25 weeks pregnant and I have to fly there with my local team/office. I’m very, very nervous about getting COVID while pregnant and I work with people who are generally lax around Covid to begin with. What would you do? Context: pretty much 100% attendance at the meeting. I’m nervous about flying AND the meeting itself.

Kind of random but I was an athlete in a non-revenue driving sport and I would say our league was pretty competitive. However, I've noticed that for the revenue-driving sports like basketball that our colleagues at Harvard and Yale consistently get better recruits and fare better on a national stage. Given the league's stance on scholarships, wouldn't you expect more parity?

Harvard had a top 10 recruiting classes a few years ago for basketball.

My Delta traveling SMEs: As a United premier 1K I’m pissed at the lack of perks . 1) I can’t combine miles and plus points. 2) NYC to LAX nonstop flights don’t have complimentary upgrades and 3) Tickets using miles do not have complimentary upgrades unless you have the $525 annual fee credit card … I’m frkn pissed. I recently received my Masters in HR management with an emphasis in Org Change Management. I’m being transferred to a new job to support managers during a company reorg. At one time I had status on most airlines and hotels but I never bothered to focus on accumulating points since it seemed like they were infinite and I booked on convenience. Oh have times changed! I even let go of Amex platinum, just wasn’t worth it to me. Base airport LAX/SNA so no airline pref.

SO recently got a job offer in OC. With wfh I likely won’t need to go to DTLA to the office. And for client travel I could go to SNA/LAX once a week if need be.
