Tips on moving from B4 finance consulting to T2 without an mba?

Is being the first one from your family / social group to go to an MBA considered as a minority / diversity? Sometimes saw that referred to as such but still doubtful

Advice: Part Time McCombs or FT Ross? 7 YOE at Big4 in healthcare strategy consulting. Make $200K+ currently. Don’t want to stay in consulting, would like to stay in healthcare after my MBA (maybe healthcare tech b/c i so i can have hybrid/WFH). Would like to continue my salary growth.

Applied for a job as a PMO Analyst at a Bank with the range between $80K-$90K. (Final Interview is on Monday) I live in San Antonio with a low cost of living. Have an MBA (regional) and my PMP.
I don’t have much work experience because I just finished my contract with the military. Is this a good salary for this role and are there any career opportunities to branch into as far as leadership positions for the future? I don’t need health insurance so as far as total comp salary’s my only interest

I have gap of 9 month in my career because I was doing preperation of CAT. After that I have done MBA. So is this gap is considered and due to which, company can reject my offer?

Does anybody know if getting an MBA is still worth it? I'm currently in Sales and on the path to making about 80K-85K this year, however, I'm looking to seek a better and higher paid job in sales but also more in an executive position, I'm not from the US and my bachelor's degree is from my country and is not related to sales... Hi guys, I’m a business analyst and although this is my first job as such I have experience on the retail banking and fintech side (customer facing roles) and I have my MBA / aws certified cloud practitioner. I make 85k a year…is that too low? I feel like I should be making more but after paying Monster to revamp my resume (useless btw) I had to redo my own anddd I’m still not getting any offers… any advice??

Leadership Development Programs-does anyone know of companies that do these? Most that I’ve seen are geared toward current MBA students/graduating this year. Super frustrating because I graduated with mine just in 2021! Thank you for any advice/information you can give!

Reality check - You can only get into product management if you hold an MBA (from reputed college). UpGrad, Upraised, Nextleap, Product folks are just sharing knowledge that will not help you pivot.

I’m a 28M making $165k/year with no debt and total financial asset value across all accounts of ~$200k. How much money should I have saved up (I.e. brokerage, IRAs, 401(k)) as I think about taking on debt for a T10 FT MBA program? Anyone else think through this / have advice here?

Is it any easier getting the MBB/B4 internship vs interviewing for the full time position in year 2 of MBA?

Are the interview expectations slightly lower?

Increasingly notice way more MBA'S choosing tech over consulting careers. Went to a top 10 program nearly a decade ago and students clamored to get into consulting. Talking to HR and taking part in recruiting myself, it appears the top talent all pick tech/PE/VC as opposed to consulting. We seem to be getting the remaining rump and we have had to go to lower rung programs to fill our bench. Consulting needs to offer better pay and work life balance that tech offers to become THE choice for grads

Did anyone previous MBA student get financial aid at all? Especially for a full time program?

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. I'm looking forward to go for MBA/changing technology, which one would be a better option? In case of the latter can you guys suggest lucrative technologies which has little/no coding and can definitely give good packages? I've tried changing jobs in Basis for nearly one year and didn't get through. Please help me.

Got into one of M7 business schools as deferred admissions but was rejected from I guess tier1 within M7(HBS, GSB). Do you think it’s worth trying for them after working a few years or is MBA more or less the same within m7?

I am coming up on my one year review at my company where I had started last Nov. I am 30 years old and have about 12 years of work experience. I also have an MBA and make $60k per year. I spoke with a company regarding employment opportunities and they said that I am extremely underpaid by about $15k. I also have listened to my coworkers stating that their salary of $70k is too low, when they are a) 5-6 years younger than me and b) this is their first job. How do I negotiate for an increase?
