Thinking of getting CSP + Amex Platinum for 200K total bonus points. Would be $795 a year in fees but wonder if anyone else has this combo?

What is the starting salary for a program manager at Amex in a tier 1 city with 5 YOE as a Senior Analyst/Analyst?

Anyone have a Centurion card? Other than cool factor (and it is cool regardless of haters) what significant value have you noticed over the Amex plat? Do you plan to keep it? Would you recommend it to others?

Have the Delta Amex Platinum card and just got approved for the Amex Platinum card. Is there a benefit to keeping both? I feel like the Amex Plat has the same benefits as the the Delta one but with more options.

Hey all! Anyone know what the AMEX band/level hierarchy is compared to Deloitte? Conscious it varies based on team and geography but generally speaking is a M/SM at AMEX akin to a C/SC at Deloitte? Experienced SC here applying for the M/SM at AMEX and it's starting to feel like the AMEX role is way more junior than my current one at Deloitte as far as responsibilities, pay, etc. Thanks!

Should I switch roles? Currently a Senior BI Developer for one of the top 3 cruise lines - salary is $123k with a 4% end of year bonus. Have 7 years experience in BI and MBA specializing in BI / Analytics. Have a BI Manager role opportunity with Amex - Salary is $108k and 12% target bonus ($120,960 overall comp). Tried negotiating higher salary but they say they already moved it higher for me & refuse to budge.

Currently have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, considering upgrading to the Reserve but also looking at AmEx Gold/Plat. Past the time-lock period for Chase so I will be eligible for the sign-up bonus again if I do upgrade.

Not sure if any upgrade is worth it but am planning to travel (should the Delta variant subside) so want to maximize the sign-up bonuses and perks for my next card.

Dumb question, but I was super drunk on Saturday night and bought bottles at a club. I blacked out and noticed two transactions on my AMEX. How long does it take to see a pending transaction online? I want to make sure that I have no more surprises lol.

I’ve been told by my firm that I need to get a corporate amex card. I’m new to consulting- can I still use my own credit card to get the points and expense that way? If it’s the corporate card can I still get points for it also or does it only go to EYP? Curious to know if a corporate amex is even a good thing or the benefits for it. Thanks!

Amex Platinum Users - How does “no preset spending limit” get reported to the credit bureaus? Just got approved and 6 months ago my credit was around 580 so this is a huge achievement for me, but I’m also obsessed with maintaining my credit score now. Google has not been helpful; too many answers are no answer. Thank you!

Help! Last minute trip to Hawaii, want to use points. Have about 250k points thru both Chase and Amex (each). Also have Amex Plat.
- Chase is running 1.5x points to transfer to Bonvoy right now.
- Amex has basically the same deal as Chase - every 2 pts transfer to Bonvoy for 3 pts (am I doing the math right?)
- Amex also has $200 FHR/Hotel Collection annual credit for one of the hotels I'm considering
- Could also transfer points to Hyatt, but not as good hotel options where I'm headed

Planning on having lots of credit card travel/dining expenses for the next 6 months (airbnbs, groceries, Uber/lyfts etc.) Currently have CSR which I use for everything, and rarely use: Marriott Bonvoy AMEX (might cancel since no more travel/hotels), BOA Cashback 3% online shopping (use for some subscriptions), Apple Card for Apple subscriptions.

Does it make sense to get the United Explorer credit card for 70k points (free for 1 year then $95 after)? United silver status trying to get higher

Anyone use Amex Send + Split with venmo or paypal? I pay rent through venmo and this looks like I could use my amex to do that without fees but it seems too good to be true?

So I’ve gotten the AmEx Platinum offer for 150K bonus points (Gold for 75K). I have another corporate card so the annual fee is $550. Even without considering the statement credits, centurion lounge, etc… it’s worth it for the bonus alone right? Like 150K points > $550, and I get the perks as free benefit. I’d plan to downgrade in 1 year. Any thoughts?

Question about credit age and credit scores. If I call up Amex and tell them to open a new credit card and transfer the credit from another card to this new credit line (and cancel the old credit card but keep the old credit line on my new credit card). Would the average age of open credit decrease as a result of both opening a credit card AND losing the credit card I had opened? Or would the age if the second credit card be transferred over.
