What are some good/important questions to ask a potential creative partner in an interview? I’m going through the process now and usually go mostly off chemistry and personality but feel like it could be of value to actually have some key questions in mind? Anyone have any that personally helped you know that your partner was “the one” (as lame as that sounds)

GHOSTING POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS: My friend is a partner in a firm (Long Island, NY). He said they cannot find attorneys to hire. Lawyers aren’t applying or applicants just don’t show up to interviews and ghost them. He thinks it’s a millennial thing. I am shocked by it. MILLENNIALS, ARE YOU REALLY GHOSTING POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS?! Where are the applicants?! Don’t you all need jobs!?

How many rounds of interviews do firms usually do for laterals? I’m a 1st year, going into my 2nd, attorney and applying for new jobs. The bulk of my work at this ID firm was mainly project based, although I got to work on several cases and have ample experience in motion practice, discovery, etc. With that being said, in my most recent interview the partner said he expects me to move the cases along, without any direct oversight (only to run ideas by him).
